Handling patience, flexibility and adaptability in the work and academic context is of great importance because it allows us to have a better work environment, to have an effective solution to problems and at the same time helps us to grow as people, then I share my work experience where it is evident how to reach the resolution of a conflict through patience, flexibility and adaptability. I used to work at a convenience store with four colleagues who were all around my age. We understood each other well and were a proactive and efficient team. However, one of the girls had to quit, and a new person joined our team - a woman who was about 20 years older than us. At first, we gave her an induction and started working well together. Nevertheless, over time, the work environment became heavy and annoying because she didn't seem to want to work as a team, instead, she just gave orders.
